These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the UNIQ mobile and web application ("Service") operated by the UNIQ team ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
UNIQ is a property inspection platform that allows authorised on-site property management staff to:
The Service is intended for use by property management organisations and their authorised employees only. It is not a consumer product.
Access to UNIQ is governed by a three-tier role system:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account or allow unauthorised individuals to access the Service using your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
You retain ownership of all photos, videos, and inspection records ("Content") you upload to UNIQ. By uploading Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Certain features — such as bill OCR — use Google Gemini AI to process uploaded images. By using these features, you acknowledge that image data may be transmitted to Google's API for processing. Refer to our Privacy Policy for more detail.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of any Content you upload. We do not verify the accuracy of inspection records.
We retain inspection records, photos, and associated data for as long as your organisation's account is active, or as required by applicable law. Draft inspections that remain incomplete for more than 48 hours may be automatically removed. Upon account termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Company Admins may remove Property Manager accounts at any time. You may request closure of your account by contacting us; residual data will be retained only as required by law or legitimate business need.
All software, design, and technology comprising the UNIQ Service — excluding Content you upload — is the exclusive property of the UNIQ team and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the Service as described here.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the UNIQ team and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim, demand, loss, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the UNIQ team operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
If you have questions about these Terms, please reach out to us through your organisation's designated UNIQ administrator or contact us at the address provided in the app.
